1. Onion Juice
This remedy is considered as one of the oldest and most effective methods. Sulphur in onion juice increases collagen production in the tissue which helps in the re-growth of hair. Because of its strong smell, people find it difficult to use it. But once we wash it or rinse it off the strong smell will vanish. Slice the onion into small pieces. Compress the slices and take out the juice. Apply the juice on the scalp and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse off with a mild shampoo.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
The apple cider vinegar helps to cleanse the scalp and maintains the pH balance of the hair thus stimulate or step up hair growth. A diluted solution is prepared, by mixing 75ml of apple cider vinegar in one litre of water for a large cluster. For a small cluster, mix 15 ml of it to a cup of warm filtered water. 3. Coconut Milk
Coconut milk is the most effective remedy for natural hair growth because it is rich in potassium, iron, and essential fats. Take coconut milk from a fresh coconut. Make a mixture of coconut milk, to this add half a squeeze of lemon, 4 drops of essential lavender oil. Apply it on your scalp, leave it for 4-5 hours and then rinse it off.

5. Fenugreek
Fenugreek seeds are a storehouse of minerals, rich in folic acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin K. Amla is a good antioxidant when combined with lemon juice which contains vitamin C will promote hair growth. It also improves the texture and colour of hair. Make a solution with 2 tbsp Amla Juice, and 2 tbsp of Lemon Juice. Apply the prepared solution on your scalp with a gentle massage. Then rinse off with lukewarm water.
8. Honey
Honey contains antioxidants that destroy free radicals which are unhealthy for the scalp. Honey also nourishes the hair follicles. Make a mixture of one tbsp pure Honey and two drops of regular shampoo. Apply the mixture on your hair and leave it for two minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. 9. Aloe Vera
